You have a buyer for your home. After the home inspector does his inspection, which is done for the buyer, you find that he has discovered different items that need to be addressed. Home inspections are a routine item in the real estate market today. Sometimes you can give a credit for the proposed cost of the repairs, but most cases the buyer would require that you fix the problems found. That is where we come in. Your realtor can usually find a competent contractor to make the repairs, or you can find a contractor. However, in all cases you, or your realtor, should verify that the contractor selected has workman's compensation insurance, if they have employees, and general liability insurance. We will repair your home as per the inspectors' report. We will inform you if the home inspector has required something that you should not have to take fix. An example of this would be repositioning roof tiles cemented in place at the ridge or hip when the home was built, and no evidence of movement is noticed.

We perform all kinds of different repairs on single family homes. Repairs can be from re-hanging a door to fixing cabinets. Usually a property owner can find a handy man. Do you want to trust your most expensive investment to a handyman? This is not to degrade a handyman, because there are many competent handymen. If the work required is more than $300.00, including all labor and materials, then handymen are not allowed to perform the necessary work in the State of California. NOTE: If you are attempting to fix electrical problems be sure to turn off the electrical circuit that you are working on. Electrical shorts cause many fires in the United States. If you are not comfortable with repairing electrical problems, please call a qualified electrical contractor.
